ok here is a freaky story....i lost contact with my long distance ex over 2 years ago and now im at university away from home.well,i got a random text last night andf it turned out to be (my gut feeling was it was her....how odd).

so anyway,we got talking, obviously chat contained about the good old times.it was great to talk to her again.

ok its way too soon to make decisions, but here are a number of Qs.she did mention that she has been trying to contact me for a long time, and i wonder her motivation for it was.was it to rekindle waht we had?im guessing get back in contact just to be friends is a little too odd.

obviously i have thought what if we did get back together.obviously this is hypothetical because its been years and we are bound to be different from before.

so yeah,im just not sure how to approach.im sure a good way is just to be mates and get to know her again properly.and definately no hinting of getting back together.....no no NO!

im not sure how id feel, but i think its sensible to only get involved in relationship if i do geneinely love her as opposed to wanting someone.

anyway do u guys think im on the right lines of thought?anything to add or some criticism is welcome.

My ex and I just reciently began talking a lot again. We didnt speak much for about 2 years and one day after i broke up with my most recient GF she sent me a message and we have talked a lot since then. I dont look at it as I will date her again, infact she is currently talking to a guy she just met and she briought him here for me to meet him and he is nice. I think its nice we talk again because we both still trust eachother a lot and its nice to have someone you can talk to about difficult stuff.

Good luck, with your situation, I hope it works out as well as mine has.
