guppyfish Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 i asked out a guy last year, who told one of my friends that he liked me. he turned me down saying that hed rather just be friends, which i can totally understand. after this occured, whenever there were group nights out he would offer to buy me drinks and try and dance with me, and after a particular night out he hand fed me some of his burger..... which i think it fairly flirtatious. one of his housemates started asking me lots of questions about my close friendship with a gay make friends, but we are just best friends and there is nothing more to it. at a few parties he was there and my friends say he kept on looking over at me and smiling, when i want watching he was looking at my whole body. his friends talk to me more and offer to go out with me places etc whenever i see him he always waves, recently after a night out he barely spoke to me but again was looking at me when i wasnt looking and looking at my body again- but he never makes the effort to take it any further. i saw him this week during a lesson and he cudnt even make eye contact with me, he seemed to leave the room as quickly as he could. i dont know waht to do, should i ask him out again? or should i leave it?
Barby Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 sounds like he's interested but sounds like he's really shy.........maybe instead of asking him out just yet....on one of your next group outings you should be extra flirtatious and maybe attempt a hug or a quick kiss?!?!

Some guys are beyond help. Wouldn't you rather get with a guy that shows obvious interest in you and actively pursues you anyway? With a guy like this, you'll be constantly wondering whether he's into you or not. Being shy is one thing but you've eventually got to show some kind of interest if you want to get a girl (and I don't mean just staring at your body). MD
