riya Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 hi my name is riya and to get straight to da point... all my life thru high school college.. among all my freinds i was da popular one.. da smart .. da fun one and life was all good and i expected things 2 be dat way... and i was a good freind not a bitch.. but life was nice..then i got married... and all my freinds went their own way.. and now when am in touch wid them .. they all seem to be in a better position than i am.. al r making money.. while i dont even have a job.. all r happy in their marriage.. while mine is breakin down .. mebbe even end up in divorce.... monetary troubles... i cant turn 2 any1 ... for help wid des freinds.. coz they wud all be very happy only to know dat aah.. "good life aint a bed of roses for her anymore.." now i am jus feelin sad.. lost my freinds.. not happy.. dunno who to turn too.. and feeling miserable... and jus cant imagine where life has got me today ... pls help.. thanks

PlentyLV007 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I feel like we are on apposite boats and yet still I feel lonely w/ out my friends. Most of my friends are married and have great lifes and kids. I'm happy being single and stuff but our plans always get interrupted because of their kids or husbands and what not. All I can recommend is to do stuff that makes you feel better and happy. Either working on your marriage, work, or something for your house... Time waits for no one to get back on their feet so don't you slump.... You know what...there are people that have it way worse out there in the world...w / out family, homes, food and support. Trust me this site is very helpful.....you will never be left w/ out support here....

It is very rare that people stay friends with those they hung around with at school, people grow apart. You mentioned monetary problems and you lack of job. Get out there with some enthusiasm and look for one. Meet people, get a hobby, joing a yoga class. Whatever, just try to take the stress off your marriage. NOTE: Please refrain from typing as if it is either a text message or you are 5 years old, it gives me a headache and annoys the he!! out of others. Just a hint.
