longlegzs80 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Acouple weeks ago I had a huge blowout with my boyfriend. It was just everything that was bottled up in our relationship that came out. He thought I was just having a bad day and didn't understand or want to listen to any of it. Him and I own a business together, I was brough into being a partner for the simple reason of advertising, finances, secretary stuff. I didn't think it was a wise idea to keep dating while doing the business and told him he was going to have to choose either dating or me being his business partner. WEll, I ended that quickly by dumping him and he says he isn't going to beg me back. But the thing is he can't seem to let go of me and don't understand why I want to break up and he didn't do anything wrong he says. Well, I told him I wasn't happy and don't want to date him anymore, our relationship is boring, he has no respect for me etc. Anywho, how can I get through his thick head that he needs to find someone else? I won't be with him at all.
JadeStar Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 If you're still in business with him, it might be best to leave the business and find something else. As long as you're still there it will probably be hard for him to cut ties with you. I would imagine after dating someone, and then being in a business together with him it would be hard, to remain in a professional type setting without having feelings. Jade

That is hard at this point since it is a new business, and money is kinds limited. There is not enough to buy me out or even a reasonable price to do something like that. He is just going to have to find someone new and we will take this business thing one step at a time. I am in it for the business and I put hard work into it. So, it is a waiting process.
