When did being single become bad for a woman?

Well I was married and have been pregnant. I guess in some ways my mom is worried because there are fertility issues, even I have them since I've never given birth to a live child.

My point is, WTF is she suggesting I rush into reproducing for? That's just plain dumb.

What about single men of a certain age? I'm in my early 30s, never been married, and when people find out there seems to be a suspicion that I'm commitment-phobic, gay, too picky, or some other serious flaw.

That's interesting because most of the guys I know in their late 20's and early 30's get the high fives and pats on the back for still boning a new chick every week.

Depends on the type of guys you know. If you hang out with *party party party* types then the high fives and pats will be commonplace. OTOH, if you hang out with more studious and serious types you will probably see less of that. :D

Why, thank you. It's all just simple honest-to-goodness common sense. :D

Absolutely. :)

Where's the strength? Where's the self-respect? Where's the "*beep* you, jackass, I'm not putting up with your *beep*!" way of thinking?

yeah, you're ok. I was happy being single too. Guys and getting married were not my worries. I had a career and at the same time studying. However, I got married when I was nearly 27.

That's because you (and most other single women) prefer to hang the guys you preceive as "hot." That's how they can find a new chick to bone them every week.

Ohhh, why didn't I think of that. That's not true, most of the guys that I know are not traditionally "hot".

Do most of them bone a new chick every week, or do they just high-five the few who do?

Define *traditionally hot* for us please...

This is getting pretty far off topic. I think it would be best for one of you to start a new thread with your questions or PM me.

Oh come on... most threads here end up *off track*... jeez. :)

Alright then, I tried. To answer the first question, some decide to stick with two or three for a while but they'll usually change it up every few months and some just go for someone new on a weekly basis.

By traditionally hot I mean someone that most people would agree is hot. There are a lot of people here, you don't have to have looks to screw around. One of my friends fiances (who is toying with his ex-gf as well) said to a few of us that he feels bad for the women here because it's like a playground for men. He believes that everybody is a playboy. I say not "everybody" but a good majority. This is my world and this is what I see around me every day, I'm sure it's different in the rest of the world but my reach only goes so far.
