hugznkisses21 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 ok i have been new to this dating thing in a long time....I chatted with a great guy for weeks....they we went out....we have gone out 3 times in one week it has been amazing we really click and ewverything.... Question when do u think the other person should remove their profile from the dating website? I am curious about this especially if things have been going this great and he has expressed ALOT of interest in me?...It shows that he actually was last online yesterday...should i ask him or is it too soon....not worried just curious? Thanks
RedRose3373 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Hello I also met my new man online on match.com Last saturday when we met for the first time, before i left to go meet him, i looked him up one last time to look at his pictures. To my suprise, he already took his add down!! I WAS SHOCKED!! So I met him & it was instant connection, I came home that night & took my add down also. I couldn't believe that he took it down even before i met him. He said from talking to me on the phone, he knew that we were going to like each other! That was a good sign if u ask me that he took his add down already!! So no, its not too early to ask him to take it down! GO FOR IT & GOOD LUCK!
Goobernix Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 I also met my girlfriend online and I wanted to wait till something was concrete before hand. We waited about 1 1/2 months and I said I wanted to be with her and we discussed taking them down and it was done.
Author hugznkisses21 Posted March 3, 2006 Author Posted March 3, 2006 great! thanks for the inputt guys. I am having sucha great time with him. As a joke i brought it up and he said he was online yesterday to be honest trying to figure out how to delete it....it is a bit of a pain to do so....and said that if i know how to go in under his password and name and do it for him. He was very sincere and honest and said that he has no reason right now to chat with anyone but me,,,heheh how sweet!
littlekitty Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Glad you both had fun internet dating!! Nice to hear some more success stories! I think the thing is just to discuss it with your partner, when you both agree, get rid of those profiles!
Guest Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 yes i am very excited to see where this goes....hes amazing...everything i have been missing in the past
littlekitty Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Brilliant!! I met my SO online, and he's now moving in after our first year together!!
RedRose3373 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Wow ladies that is great! I never thought that i'd meet a nice guy on the internet! Its only been 1 week tomorrow since i met him, but our first 2 dates were great! Hopefully i met the one for me. We will see , good things like this don't happened me!! Maybe my luck is changing!!
Author hugznkisses21 Posted March 3, 2006 Author Posted March 3, 2006 Well CONGRATS ladies!! I have to say in all my dating and meeting guys i have never met someone so much like me and what i want....i wish u guys all the best of luck!!!!
ttmmpp Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Maybe he was online checking to see if you've been on? I met my boyfriend online and can't lie I would get on to see if he was still looking. Anyway we decided after our 2nd date that we would both retire from the online thing and we have been seeing each other for over 7 months now and things are going great. I would just ask him, the worst that can happen is you'll either realize he's not the one or just needs a little more time. If he doesn't want it to be exclusive yet, you owe it to yourself to have fun and keep searching and dating!!!
RedRose3373 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 ttmmpp - i just read what u wrote. My man took his add down even before he met me, he said he can't date more that 1 girl at a time. I just thought that was sweet, however, after reading your quote above, does this mean that he wants to be exclusive with me??? I just never looked at it like that. Its been a week tomorrow since we first me & had a 2nd date since & things went great.
ttmmpp Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 It looks as though that may be the case. Our guys have that in common. Mine said he only wanted to date one girl at a time. We both felt we clicked immediatley, and felt the best way to find out for sure is to put our time and energy into each other and learning about one another instead of 2 or 3 people. Sounds like your guy feels the same way.
RedRose3373 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ok cool!! This may be is a good one!! Good luck with your internet man!! Keep us posted
