Author RedRose3373 Posted March 7, 2006 Author Posted March 7, 2006 I just don't want to give it up so early. He might think that i'm easy. My girlfriends say that every changes after the guy gets it. I also had something horrible happen to me about 7 years ago. I met this guy online, we dated for a month, things were great. Then after 1 month we slept together & he broke up with me the very next day. He totally cut me off, he wouldn't answer my calls, no emails nothing. I regretted sleeping with him, it was a really hard time for me. It was so hard to get over. If a girl u met, & things were going great & she gave it up in 1 1/2 weeks would u think any less of her??
tanbark813 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 If a girl u met, & things were going great & she gave it up in 1 1/2 weeks would u think any less of her?? Nope. How can I hold something against her that I am willing to do myself? Not all guys think the same way.
Author RedRose3373 Posted March 7, 2006 Author Posted March 7, 2006 True but its different for a guy. guys would do it on the first date & nothing would be wrong with that, the girl gets the bad name not the guy. But i guess if he's a jerk & will leave me after he gets it, he's going to whether i wait 2 weeks or 2 months. thanks tan, u r ok

That guy was a jerk. Any guy still clinging to the idea that a woman somehow spoils or something if she has sex is a neanderthal and not worth your time. I'm not saying go on a ho-spree, but just because that one guy was a jerk doesn't mean all men are, and "not giving it up too soon" sounds a lot like game playing to me, which I feel is a waste of time.
tanbark813 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 "not giving it up too soon" sounds a lot like game playing to me, which I feel is a waste of time. Exactly. ..

PlentyLV007 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Go with how you feel.... because no matter what kind of advice you get here on LS.....you are the only one that can make yourself happy. U COME FIRST! If you want to get some...get some!!!! "I" honestly thing that 1 1/2 weeks is good if the attraction is getting hot and steamy....The longest I've held off is a month. It's hard. If you like someone I don't c what the big deal is. You don't want to play games.... Ask yourself this.....R u ready? Do "you" want to...? how do you feel about giving it up after 1 1/2 weeks? Do "you" want to keep waiting? Fact is....guys will always be ready,...the first night...they are ready....so no matter how long you hold out....they are ready.
Guest Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I think if you have a connection with this guy and you feel you can trust him then go for it!!Life is too short he might be the one!!
Raven1845 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Nope. How can I hold something against her that I am willing to do myself? Not all guys think the same way. HOLY MOLY, A REAL MAN! WOO HOO!!! Thank you, tanbark. I wish there were more like you!
Curmudgeon Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 3 hours, 47 minutes and 12 seconds or write it off as a waste of time. Seriously, though, it depends solely on the people involved and there are no rules to human relationships. In general, rushes to relationship aren't usually a good idea.
Citizen Erased Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 28 days was the longest for me (yes exactly 28 days haha) but not on purpose. I think that if you want to and feel comfortable in doing so then you should just go for it!
