nice guy444 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I want to know why it seems every girl i meet is attracted to the biggest jerks in the world, who dont care one bit about the girl, and are only in to the girl when it is convenient for them. Why is this such a common occurance? Its very frustrating to me because i am a good natured person who always treats a girl right and respects them. But i find the girl always tends to leave me for some jerk, and then ends up getting hurt and trying to come back to me after the horrible things they have done to me. (aka cheating, and things along those lines) I am beginning to believe that line "nice guys finish last" is a true. I am just interested in why this keeps happening to me, and why i always feel like crap after. Since when is treating a girl well a turn off? and what is so appealing about these cocky, self centered guys who are just out for themselves? sometimes i wonder if i need to change my ways to entice a girl to become interested in me. I am known as the the nice guy that everyone relies on, tho i have many friends i still feel very lonely because i dont have anyone to share my time with and connect with on another level. I miss having a gf and all the happiness that accompanies it. I got out of a long term relationship early this past summer and havnt been on a date since. I used to be more confident, and not have trouble talking to girls. Since the breakup my confidence has been smashed and i dont know how to start a new relationship with girls that i am interested in. I fear being heartbroken again in such a horrible way. Sometimes i wonder what am doing wrong, or what i did to deserve to be hurt this badly. I also wonder why the ruthless people seem to be the ones who come out on top and always seem to be in a relationship. I just wish for once i could meet a girl who isnt in to material value, or going to leave once they see a guy who doesnt give them attention. Any thoughts or advice would be great.
