Woggle Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I have noticed that many women who go for badboys tend to come from strict backgrounds and lived fairly drama free but boring lives. They often come from religious families with very strict fathers so their entire lives they go for men who are the exact opposite of what daddy would like. They are stuck in a permenant rebellion phase. During their youth they felt like caged birds so as soon as they got some freedom they went wild. You know what they say about catholic school girls. The drama the badboy brings creates the excitement they have craved their entire life and it becomes an addiction even though it makes them feel bad. It is like mental crack or heroin. Also many of these women tend to come from upper class backgrounds. On the other hand most women that are more streetsmart and have experienced real drama tend to crave more stability.

It's like they have a ton of pent-up sexual frustration and as soon as they get away from Daddy... look out, world! BAM! Didn't Madonna sing about this in "Papa Don't Preach?"

I would say that most of them end up marrying straight laced dependable type guys and having missionary style sex once a week while they raise their kids and go to church.

And she condons it because she missed out on all the fun eralier in life. She divorces, gets into several relationships were she is used for sex then dumped. Ends up marrying a jerk of a 2nd husband, but stays cause she needs a companion. Age 45 hits and she realizes that all this freedom she missed out on does not compare to the stable family life she once had. She calls her old husband only to find out he has moved on and has married a betrayed woman whos husband did the same as she did to hers. Then there she is, broken hearted and wondering why she choose what she choose. sarcasim intended

Wealthy heiresses getting involved with bad boys is the sort of scandal trashy newspapers never tire of....and if the journalist can find any hint of a religious connection, so much the better. It's frightening that people read these rags and believe that they present a comprehensive overview of human nature - whilst, no doubt, scorning the work of psychologists, sociologists and others who devote their lives to carrying out properly conducted, objective research into these matters. I guess the National Enquirer is a bit sexier and easier to read.
