I'm 18 years old, 5'2, and used to weigh 138 pounds. Now I weigh 113 pounds. I still have this fat belly.

They say you have to get rid of the fat first for your stomach to be flat, so do you guys think I need to lose more weight? If not, what should I do to get rid of my stomach?

Is it really fat? I mean can you pinch an inch of fat? Or is it that you're bloated? i.e. Water rentention or some such?

Could it be?

I CAN pinch an inch of fat, so no I'm not bloated.

Ok, well we all lose fat from different parts of our body at different rates. For example, if I take my bodyfat low, I know my boobs will shrink first (bugger!), followed by my arse, thighs and eventually my stomach! It's last and hardest to loose the fat off.

Are you monitoring your bodyfat at all? If not I would recommend doing so. Unfortunately I'm not good at working in metric weights, so I can't work out if you're skinny already or not! You don't want to take your bf too low, and it may be that you're just inclined to carry more weight in that area.

I'm 5'2" and about 7 st 10 lbs, and my waist measurement is 26. I know I've not got a fat stomach, so you sound about right.

Just sounds like your carrying a little bit of fat there. And believe me... that last couple of pounds is going to be hardest to move, because you seem to be at a pretty ideal weight.

BTW - All the ab excerises in the world won't give you a six pack until you lose the fat off the top, but they will help tighten the muscles and therefore keep it flatter!
