hurtbeyondwords Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I hope that everyones weekend went well. Mine turned to crap and I will tell you why. I was dumped almost 2 months ago and have been in strict NC for 3 weeks. I met a girl a little while ago who really sparked my interest and we had a good time together. She is a friend of my roommates gf so she came out to the bar with us last night. She completely blew me off and made it blatenly obvious that she wanted nothing to do with me. I was upset but made the best of it. She comes back to my place and ends up curling up on me on the couch and passes out. Not cool. I start to push her off of me and suddenly she stands up and throws up everywhere!! F@CK! I stay a nice guy, I clean up and make sure she's alright. Defeated I go to bed and made the mistake of checking my email. Low and behold I recieved an email from my ex asking how I am, says that Im still important to her, blah, blah BLAH! Anyone else wanna crap on me? Get in line!
CaliGuy Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Ignore the ex. Find a new girl to hang out with. IMHO, alcohol (bars, clubs) is not an ideal place to get to know someone. PS: I'd have made her clean up her own puke!

Caliguy is right though, u need to ignore the ex and try to get out and spend sometime with other girls who are worth more. Try to keep your chin up, just think that u r doing better than a few weeks ago and will continue to do so. Everyone has these backward steps at some point... keep moving on and meet other girls, even to just chill out with.

Then I get an e-mail from an ex from 2 years ago. Then I get another one from an ex from last year. Then...I get a text from my ex who wants to come by and get her bike from my house. (don't know why she couldn't call) I mean, come on!!! How much more can we take??? I'm sorry you're going through things. Just know that you aren't alone...

Im writing more and that helps. I just had the idea that when she contacted me it would fill a small part of my void it has only done the opposite. It does feel kinda good having the ball in my court, now she can know what it feels like waiting for someone to contact her. I am really trying to not break down here at work. Not going so well.
