bab Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 I recently accepted a job that will be good for advancing my career, but it's only a 3 year position. When I called another employeer to tell them I was no longer available, they let me know that an offer was in the works. Unfortunately, the temporary position is better in the long run as it will involve more training, but the position I had to turn down was something that I might be interested in at the end of the temporary position. Is there a good strategy for keeping the door open from 3 years from now?
