guest Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Hi I'm new here....Would someone out there PLEASE HELP ME!!!! There is this guy ( I kinda knew of him but didn't know him personally). We go see the same band all the time but had NEVER spoken to each other. Well...a few weeks ago he just walked up and said he'd been seeing me there and wanted to meet me. He introduced himself and we chatted for awhile. The next time I saw him he invited me to come to a concert he was going to but didn't ask me to come as "his date"...he just said I should come cause he'd be there and he hugged me. The last time I saw him he asked me if I was single and keeps telling me he's single. IS THIS GUY INTERESTED IN ME or DOES HE JUST WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH ME??? He's asked me where I work, where I live, if I have any kids. He is divorced and told he has a daughter and told me where he lives and works. I just can't figure out if he's interested or wants a new friend.

Soms girls still doubt intentions even if you do eveything possible. A girl once told me.. "I wasn't sure if you really liked me" into me.... while I had been flirting with her for ages, send her a nice valentines card, and so on.

I wondered to myself... "Do you babysit cheap?" My money is on the idea that he wants to get ya naked, yes.
konfuzd Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 This is pretty bizzare, but your story is nearly identical to something that I'm going through right now, if I didn't know better, I'd say it was the same guy!!!Also met at a live music event, he is divorced with a daughter as well. He took me out to dinner, and was full of the same kinds of questions... did I have kids, do I want kids, past relationships.... everything that pointed to, "hey, I'm totally into you".... I was on cloud nine... the only thing was, there was never any physical contact.... on our fourth "date", I had to ask for a hug when he dropped me off at my place, and it ended up being the type of hug you give your granny... I somehow ended up in the friend zone... contrary to all the signs he was giving me. He even sent me a 'happy valentine's day' text, and asked if we could get together again soon, but we still seem to be 'buddies' more than anything. Not sure I can answer your question directly, from what you've posted, it sounds like he's interested, but I'd keep your guard up, so you don't end up all dissapointed and bitter as I am....
