Shyguy86 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I recently called a friend (who is a girl) of mine who I havn't seen in a while and asked if she wanted to do something. She was friendly and agreed to seeing me. But here's the thing, Is this a pitty date because she didn't want to say no? I'm always worried that people around me don't want to be with me but only are because they don't have the heart to say no. So I'm asking you guys. If someone were to ask you out and you didn't want to go, would you bite your tongue and get it over with knowing that you probably wont see or talk to them again for a while, or would you straight up say no you don't want to or maybe make up an excuse?
Guest Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 No, no pity dates. I'd only go and see for the first meeting to see if there's any chemistry. If there is, I will agree to second dates, etc. If there isn't, I will decline the next time. But I don't think it's a pity date. I think she just wants to test out the water. Have fun!
