intherough Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Hey! I wanna share my story with you guys. I met this guy online about 2 years ago, we had a lot in common so we became friends and a year later we decided to take things to the next level. It lasted about 7 months until he decided to dump me this January, he said the long distance thing would never work out and such. I know it would've never worked out but I can't seem to get over him. And the worst thing is that he asked me if we could still be friends and i said yes. Sometimes it hurts when i talk to him but i truly wanna remain friends with him, seeing we were best friends before being an item. I know know it seems dumb cause it's just online, but it's really making my life miserable Any word of advice you wanna share with me?
UT_longhorn Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 in the rough.... a relationship is a relationship wether its online, or in person. the emotions involved are the same. and just like everyone else doing NC .. you need to implement that as well. I know this is a great friend to you, but if thats the case, then you can be friends down the line. But until then, you have to heal yourself. i suggest you ask him to respect your space for a while until you're ready to talk again.
catgirl1927 Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I agree with UT_Longhorn, which is unusual, I'm an Aggie. But seriously, you need some space to heal. If it's meant to be it will work out.
UT_longhorn Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 catgirl...i guess longhorns and aggies can actually agree on some things
