Lishy Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Ok guys answer me this please!!!!!!! I have just been having a discussion with a girl who went out last night and bumped into a guy she used to date for a short time in a bar. She said he spent the whole time looking over at her and smiling (Like Mr Drivebay did to me last month) She seems to think that he was letting her know that he is still interested - But I think that seeing as he was the one who ended it (he said he was not ready for a relationship) that if he was still interested he would let her know! My feelings do stem from my own experiences but maybe I am wrong as I am not a guy ... Over to you guys .............
noclobber Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 With change of name, is the story about you?
Author Lishy Posted February 12, 2006 Author Posted February 12, 2006 Hey Clobsyyyyyyy babyyyyyy How r u? No honey it is not about me, I am over that sorry period in my life! but I do feel my judgements are cloudy because of what happened with me and that is why I am asking you guys! I am telling her to forget it but maybe I am wrong! Or maybe I am right!
noclobber Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 In that case I would say that you are right Lishy! You have clearly said that it was he that broke-up with your friend b'cos he was not ready for a serious relationship. She should just move on instead of getting stuck... Her residual feelings for him give her the impression that he still likes her 'cos he is looking at her and smiling. But that's just an illusion. Ask her to tear down the facade and see reality as it is!
Curmudgeon Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 it obviously means something to her so she could be reading a lot more into it than is really there. Would she truly consider making the same mistake twice with him?
SuperMonk Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 When an "ex" dude sees his ex-girlfriend dating a "new" dude - he thinks heh heh.. I'm gonna cockblock this new dude and get my girlfriend for some frills then dump her again! I think you know how ladies work when they create the false illusion of interest, this is almost the same way how this dude is working.
