Maybe going to the nearest beach, but I HIGHLY doubt any proposals will be happening!!! LOL Then he's leaving on Sunday afternoon, so we wont actually be together on V-day....but thats okay, since its just another day of the week. What are you doing, Wit?
Pendawn Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Well it's our 1 year anniversary on the 12th so we're going for dinner Saturday night then to watch his favourite movie Cyrano De bergerac which ALWAYs makes him cry - and seeing him cry at a movie makes me totally goey. Then V day He's coming over to mine and I'm cooking for him. Nothing exciting but I think there will be plenty of romance (but no hot sex as he has medical probs at moment )

I intend to drink a bit. It'll be a good day. My woman is sending chocolates and mine arrived for her already.

SO works really long hours on Tuesdays. So I might do Valentines day stuff on the weekend, trying to think of a fitting gift, oh and of course flowers and chocs, maybe a serenade....... thoughts haven't solidified yet. Hmmm.......
Tangerina Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Probably wont see each other tuesday since it is 1.5 hours of driving for each of us just to meet in Seattle for dinner, then we would each have to drive back to our respective cities for school in the morn.... would have done it, but the restaurant I want to take him to is all booked up so it isn't worth it, but I deffinitely want to do something this weekend... in a shocking shift of gender roles (GASP!) I am taking him out since well I am the one with money and the one who likes to go out to expensive places so it is only fair.... He is riding his motorcycle up to spend the weekend at my Star Wars party but if I am getting my hair dyed in Seattle on Friday I might still meet him to go to the Palomino (the restaurant I wanted to go to) since it won't be booked then.... or if that doesn't happen I will just take him out while he is here.... I am gonna get him a flower and some candy (he loves candy!) and I kinda wanted to get him this paddle I saw at this adult store and it is super cute and has a heart cut out.... but it is $30 so I probably won't, but it would be a nice gift! Then he could smack my bottom for V-day.... There deffinitely will be champagne and fine lingerie involved at some point.... I like being the romantic one and coming up with crazy evenings like this... he is very romantic too but not in as organized of a way... Like I am really hoping to get candies or a flower or something but he doesn't put much stock in holidays so that stuff doesn't occur to him much more for holidays than other days, but he gets me sweet things on "just cuz" days a lot (like he got me some chocolate and yarn this weekend and wrapped it up all nice just cuz he thought I'd like it).... but I am hoping for something valentiney... I think I will take it into my own hands and strongly suggest that we write each other letters... that would be sweet, he is a good writer...

I've sent a nice rude and crude card to his workplace, I'll save the slushy one for later!! I've got some 'I love you' hand made candies, some heart shape cookies, some heart shape chocolates. I know I'll be getting roses at work! We're going to stay in this valentines day and have a nice romantic meal together. There'll be Champagne, candles, naughty underwear, and stockings for sure!! We'll have a nice slow dinner, some romance, maybe a candle lit bath.... and then we have the whole next day together too as we've both booked the day off!! Talking of romantic actions, I came home recently and opened the front door to find a trail of arrows on A4 paper across my floor (he'd had the day off, but gone out). Each had a little note on it such as 'your beautiful', 'your wonderful' etc. I followed through the house to the dining room table where he'd left a beautiful bunch of flowers and a long love letter for me!! I'm so lucky!!

I use Moonpig, so I've ordered it to be sent to him on the Monday for next day delivery so I KNOW it will arrive on the day!!

alphamale Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Any LS'ers got any plans for Valentine's Day. not really...i've been casually dating this woman for past 5 months. we've spent many wknds together and have fun. she's a great person but the "love" thing just ain't happening from my end. i think she's too nice for me and i also think that she may think its more serious than i do. i've alos been going out and meeting other women on the sly... its a nice comfortable arragnement but she is not "the one". during all the 5 months I have not told her I love her (cause I don't) and she has never brought up the "talk".... i don't know what to do for valentines day. what should I do? nothing would probably be good. maybe i'll just give her a card and a nestle crunch bar...

Get her something she can really use like a 12 pack of toilet paper or a nice cheery box of tampons. Just recycle one of your old cards X out the parts that dont fit...... or use a V -day card and X out the Love parts replace with "like". "just a card to tell you that I like you, and I think your okay" a4a- love is in the air, and thank goodness I own a gas mask
