circusfood Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 so i got a wedding ring now. But i've NEVER worn any rings in my life. let's put it this way, if i wanted to pull my ring off, i couldn't. it won't pass my knuckle, not without soap and water or lotion or something, even then, it's a struggle and a tiny bit painful, but it would eventually come off. it's not like it's cutting off the finger circulation, but it just doesn't come off easy at all, and i'm just wondering, is that bad????? maybe i just have big knuckles....
TeaCooler Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 i don't think it should be that tight. it should be comfortable, and come off with some resistance around the knuckle. (you do want some resistance so it doesn't slip off.) if you need agents to be able to slip it off, i would say it's too tight. and if it's too tight, moisture gets trapped, skin gets irritated, and you'll have niiiiice itchy, annoying, maybe even painful, ridge around your finger.
Author circusfood Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 wow, that helps a lot. yeah, there is a small teenie bit of play at the base of my finger, when the ring is on, it's not squeezing the heck outta my finger, but it's just when i go to take it off, forgetta bout it. thanks for the help.
