luvtoto Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 ...after work and goes straight for the pony-tail and sweats? Is it just me? I know men hate this!
Author luvtoto Posted February 4, 2006 Author Posted February 4, 2006 *knock* *knock* "Is this thing on?" I know...I know...I am an idiot.
Silas25 Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 No it is not just you.. I change asap! I dress up for work everyday, so when I come home it is comfy clothes only!!!
bab Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Right now I'm a grad student, and I don't teach, so although I don't wear sweats...I wear about the equivalent to "work" everyday, so no need to change!! Actually, I've been here an hour and have yet to brush my hair. I just towel dry and go!! I have a meeting at 2, so it'll get brushed at some point....My fiance seems pretty okay with similar attire at home. As long as he can lounge around the house in the clothes he's been working on the car on. Nothing sexier than the smell of oil, grease, and gasoline!! (I must admit the dirtyness does get me kinda hot....)

Woggle Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 My fiance looks great when she first wakes up in the morning so I don't mind her getting comfy. We usually go out together after work though.
a4a Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I always look like crap I work outdoors quite a bit so jean (usually with a stain or tear) Hair wind blown in a tie or band, mud clad ariats, no face make up..... when I come in I take a shower and get all purrdied up My H hates when I wear make up, says I look better without it and likes my hair unworked. Good thing because that is how I normally look like I just crawled outta bed My jammie pants go on as soon as outdoor work is done.... usually the ones with zebras on them or the ones with angry donkeys that say wise A$$ on them.... and a tank top..... I am so so sexy at night for H. No wonder he is not interested in sex He thinks my riding tights are sexy.... Summer is better.... tank tops, and shorts with work boots :lmao:
Shana Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 A4A - do you work at a horse farm? I know ariats with mud on them all to well myself O/P - No men don't hate it when we come home and dress comfy... maybe yours does?? When me and s/o come home we both automatically get out of the shirt, tie & me, my suits... into fleece pants and sweatshirts. If your secure in your relationship, clothes don't make you.
Author luvtoto Posted February 7, 2006 Author Posted February 7, 2006 I was once told by a live-in 'X' long time ago..."Geez, you save the best for people outside of the house...(like coworkers, friends) but, for the man that loves you...you dress in sweats." Is there any truth to what he said?

Yeah you could say I work on a horse farm alright, but today I got strangles so just feeding and watching them make mud pies from the house. I took a shower and combed my hair to feed the horses....... now putting back on my zebra pants......done for the day. It sucks to have strangles!
Silas25 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I was once told by a live-in 'X' long time ago..."Geez, you save the best for people outside of the house...(like coworkers, friends) but, for the man that loves you...you dress in sweats." Is there any truth to what he said? Well since they were his feelings, then there is probably some truth to it. But, it sounds as if he was insecure about himself alittle. My current bf is like that sometimes...it's "you can't look good for me all the time, then why for others?". He is rather insecure about others always somehow being better then him, no matter the reason. I told him the same as others have said on this post....clothes are not important to show you care, the feelings are what makes things right...me dressing up for work or to go out has nothing to do w/ the other people. I like the feeling of being comfortable enough w/someone to come home and just be comfortable in whatever I want to wear. I only dress up going out because I know it would make him happy to see me dressy sometimes, but it also makes me feel good...but it is still good to come home and put on some comfy clothes to cuddle in!!

I get up at 6AM and feed our beasts, then onto the 9-5 jobby! You got a string of strangles?? That really sucks! We had a horse come from another farm for boarding and he came off the trailer with oozes of mucus coming out of his nose! Needless to say, I sent the horse back to where he was until he got better, with 25 horses I cannot risk the thought of the whole barn catching it! Are you required to vaccinate where you are? Hope all gets better soon! And, have a fun day in your Zebra prints!
