wezol Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 My girlfriend said that if she ever got pregnant she would get an abortion. I am fine with that as we are both college freshmen. She is on the pill and I use protection. She was also a virgin up until a few nights ago. Well we got hot and heavy a probably 3 days ago and I just put it in, with no movement (her first time). I didnt want to hurt her. Well she bleed the next day and also last night she had blood on her pad. I know the odds of her being pregnant are very very slim but with her bleeding made me worry a little and the subject came up. So a few questions 1) What are odds of her being pregnant? 2) IF she were, would the bleeding go on for a few days (shes not on her period, it starts tomorrow) 3) How much does an abortion cost? 4) What is the difference between the morning after pill and a pill you take for abortion? (If there is a difference.) Im not freaking out I just like to have this stuff known, for future referance if need be. Thanks

I bleed for about 2 days when I lost my virginity. Since she's on bc chances are slim she got pg. The morning after pill has to be taken within 48 hrs of unprotected sex I believe. I'm not sure how much abortions cost. I'd relax for now. Jen

The birth control pill consists of low dose hormones that convince a woman's body that she is already pregnant. The morning-after-pill is a much higher dose of these hormones, if it is taken soon enough it prevents the sperm of from ferilizing the egg. I took it once, and I didn't have any ill effect, except it brought my period a early. Part of the bleeding and pain durring sex could come from the fact that she is nervous about it. Try a lot of long forplay--see if you can't get her wet enough that she is the one who initiates sex. The more excited she is the better it will be. Just chill out though... as long as you really use a condum...um all the time...you are not going to knock her up. Just don't do the pull-out thing... xo

Read around and learn some real medical information about women's bodies, and then how to pleasure them to climax. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. If she's on bc and you're using a condom and you get pregnant, GOD wants that baby. Relax and enjoy the exploration together.

I have not checked recently but I believe between $280 and $450 can be more for late term....... I do not know the cost of EC.
Author wezol Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 An update with another question. She was supposed to start her period today but hasnt yet, or she doesnt think. She said she is kind of having cramps but not really, but she is sick. Coughing and nausea with a slight fever (mostly coughing). She got sick the same day I put it in her, but before we did the deed. She said its weird cause the stuff comming out is really dark, like she is just finishing her period; but she never started? She said it doesnt look like blood at all. She has also been peeing ALOT the past few days. What could this dark stuff be? She doesnt know either.
