AndrewJ Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Been comunicating with a lady for about 4 months through sms and messenger. We arranged to meet up at the local cinema at 7pm. I turned up waiting to meet this woman for the first time. No sign of life.....I called her no answer (phone off) Then i got a sms saying she couldnt come because her boss said she had to work late and she was so pissed of with her boss. ......JUst Wondering if this was a stitch up........I felt like a fool:rolleyes:

My advice would be to wait to see if she suggests meeting again....maybe she was too scared to go through with meeting you at this time. Could be afraid that you wouldn't like her, could be that she had no intentions of meeting you ever. Or her excuse could have been true but she should have called and let you know. Did she seem excited to be coming to meet you?

We have been talking daily for months She always draws me pictures and stuff like that and she always says she likes me. I dont know whether to let her go or put it down to her insecurity?
Barby Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I would say probably insecurity.....my sister went through something similar...she finally got up the courage to meet him and now she's glad she did. I say...since you really like her...don't write her off just yet. Give her another chance...before the date re-assure her of how much you like her...I say, put yourself in her situation and re-act and do what you'd want her to do if the situation was reversed!

If not then that could be why she was scared also, but if you have or have seen each other live on web-cam then that obviously wasn't the issue. But I stand mainly by the insecurity thing as her reason for not showing.

If not then heck yeah it's better to move on and find someone who won't play games. However if you have talked to her online but she just doesn't answer her phone, could be that she has no minutes or is seeing someone and doesn't want to be busted by a ringing phone. It just seems awful extreme that she would go to the extreme of leaving off her phone just to avoid your phone calls, what if loved ones call?
