justagirliegirl Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I really need some outside opinions. I just want to make sure I am not making a big deal out of these things. I have a problem with setting boundaries with some people. Usually family members. They will say or do something I don't like and rather than say anything I usually just ignore it. What would you think if your bf asked you if you were going somewhere today and then he asked if I was going to clean up today and I said I didn't know and then he asked me if I would have my place cleaned up by the time he got back on Friday. We are both slobs so I don't get why all of a sudden now he wants to mention it??? Besides, he doesn't live with me although he might as well as he is here all the time. This is MY apartment and I pay for it. He is very messy here himself and never helps me clean up anything. So what is up with this and should I say anything to him?
Author justagirliegirl Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 Any words of wisdom on this?
witabix Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Yes, ask him to help you clean up, call it a bonding exercise. I would continue to ignore family members who talk balls. Your bf is begining to take advantage, tell him to put up, shut up, or clean up. Ha! Or give him a pair of rubber gloves and a pinafore for Valentine's Day!!!! Errr, unless he's kinky!
Author justagirliegirl Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 Ha! Or give him a pair of rubber gloves and a pinafore for Valentine's Day!!!! Errr, unless he's kinky! :lmao: That was good!!! HAHAHAHA Get him a sexy maid uniform and show it to him if he mentions the mess again. He'll say "mess? what mess? can we go back to bed now!":lmao:
witabix Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Ha, yeah, and give him the sheets to wash afterwards!!!
Becoming Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Who knows what this is about? WHy not just ask him?
