What should I get my boyfriend before he leaves for bootcamp??? any suggestions?

• earplugs;
  
• a titanium cup;
  
• pictures of you naked on a bed (better send them to me first, so I can do a quality control check);
  
• Advil;
  
• a copy of the movie Full Metal Jacket;
  
• hairbrush (he won't have any hair, of course, but what the heck).

That about covers it.

having been in the military, the most important thing is to keep in contact and reassure him that you are still just as strong as ever in your relationship....as a few weeks in i´m sure other guys girls will start breaking up with them etc, and its then that you be supportive, as with some of the stuff that´ll be happening with other guys going on in the background he´d certainly be forgiven for feeling a little insecure etc

Girl let me tell you, I'm in the Marine Corps and have been for about 3 yrs now. The best thing you can do for your boyfrined is to write to him and send him occasional pictures (be careful though the drill instructors will look at those pictures). He will appreciate it very much. Anything else will probably be taken from him and held in storage until he graduates. Just understand, however, that with these three months comes many more months apart as well. My boyfriend and I are stationed very far from each other and every 5 months or so I will get deployed for 7. but if you guys really love and trust each other you will definalty make it work and you will have a very strong relationship. It'll be hard but work at it and you'll be very happy. The military is a great family to be a part of. Good Luck!
