I have this feeling that my ex bf is up to something. Well I dumped him 5 years ago and he was really bitter. Whenever we ran into each other he would ignore me, glare at me, or say something rude. Well just in the last week I have ran into him 2 times. The first time was at Election Day (I live in Canada). He was being really friendly, and asked me how I was doing, and that he hadnt seen me in a long time. Then I ran into him today at the video store. He smiled and said "Hey, Hows it Going, !

Well I have a theory on his attitiude change towards me. When we were dating neither of us had a job, we were both on welffare. He told me back then that his goal was to scam the government so he wouldnt have to work a day in his life. He also told me that he expected his girlfriends to find employment and support him. Well as far as I know he is still without a job.

I on the other hand have a really good job now with a union. We live in a small town and I am sure he found out about this. My radar is up, and I am certain his attitude change has to do with me getting this job. I remember he phoned me a year ago and asked if I was working. I told him no, because I wasnt employed at the time. When I said I wasnt employed he lost interest.

Should I have reason to be cautous with him? Because I am certain that if he found out I'm working he will try to get me back.

You should be cautious... however, you shouldn't be all that worried either. Just ignore him, get on with your life.. keep bettering yourself.

And please.. for the love of God, don't get back with him!

Great advice. Stay far away, especially given this guy's stated opposition to honest work. That just can't be a good thing!
