slider171 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I'm incredibly shy when it comes to romance and stuff. Theres this girl I work with, and I'm pretty sure she likes me. She always greets me right away, and always has something to say to me. She often holds onto my arm or something when she talks to me. She even sometimes will pull me away from others so we could work alone together. (always has an excuse, but never does this to anyone else) So first off, does she actually like me do you think? Now heres where the trouble starts. Its not that I don't like her, recently I've realized that I do, but out lives outside of work seem so different. Shes totally outgoing and loves to party and I'm more of a quiet loner type. I'm also moving away in a few months to go to school. So basically, is it worth it to try to have a relationship with her? Even if I don't think it will work out? I've always told myself it wouldn't be a good idea to get involved with somebody you work with and I'm afraid things might get awkward really fast if something went wrong. And what should I do if she actually approaches me? Help! Thanks!
bluechocolate Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 So basically, is it worth it to try to have a relationship with her? Even if I don't think it will work out? Wow, talk about putting the cart before the horse! You haven't even asked her out & you're contemplating a relationship & then its demise. Slow down buddy. Not every date is going to be a relationship. Just ask her out, see what happens & take it from there.
