I have a question: over the past 6 months, after i got on the shot, i gained around 15-20 pounds. i recently got off and lost about 10 pounds. but i've noticed that i still have a pouch. i do a lot of sit-ups, and i work out a few times a week. but it still won't go away! is there anything i can do, or do i just have to live with it?

On the shot? What does that mean?

Whatever, you can have the best abdominal muscles going, but if there is a layer of fat sitting on top them then they're still going to be hidden.

You've only lost 10 of the 15 to 20 pounds you gained, so that could be contributing. Other than that, a low fat diet & lots of high energy-fat burning exercises should help.

the depo-provera birth control shot.

I also have the same like pouch below my belly button... ive been on the depo for close to two years, but I havent really gained any weight. maybe the hormones in the shot changes where and how you gain/loose weight.
