JeT'Aime Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I have a question: over the past 6 months, after i got on the shot, i gained around 15-20 pounds. i recently got off and lost about 10 pounds. but i've noticed that i still have a pouch. i do a lot of sit-ups, and i work out a few times a week. but it still won't go away! is there anything i can do, or do i just have to live with it?
bluechocolate Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I have a question: over the past 6 months, after i got on the shot, i gained around 15-20 pounds. On the shot? What does that mean? Whatever, you can have the best abdominal muscles going, but if there is a layer of fat sitting on top them then they're still going to be hidden. ...but it still won't go away! is there anything i can do, or do i just have to live with it? You've only lost 10 of the 15 to 20 pounds you gained, so that could be contributing. Other than that, a low fat diet & lots of high energy-fat burning exercises should help.

What does that mean? the depo-provera birth control shot. I also have the same like pouch below my belly button... ive been on the depo for close to two years, but I havent really gained any weight. maybe the hormones in the shot changes where and how you gain/loose weight.
