My friend and her CREEPY DENTIST.

Interesting story here. Ive been friends with a woman I know for about 5 years , weve moved away from each other she lives in florida now.Married 3 kids . Happily. We'll call her S .

 

About 6 months ago S got a call to her home from a wealthy dentist ( this very much follows the creppy dentist thread) he lives somewhere in FL also,dont remember where she said it was. But hed accidentally dialed the wrong number to reach one of his clients ( he claims) . So they hung up, later he called back to appologize for calling and began to chat her up.Strange stuff. Then he bagan to call regularly , she found it odd, but my friend has trouble being rude so continued listening to his problems when he called. He eventually explained that hed set up an online account for her with money in it and a post office box that he was sending things to for her and that she could get access to at a post office in her town. Im not sure what prompted him to do this ,but it made her uncomfortable ( so she says) but not too uncomfortable to pick up the ATM card and other gifts from the post office box.My understanding is that this man dosent know anything about her but her first name and her phone number .Dosent have her addy , she claims he set up the box at PO with her first name and a password.He claims he does all of this because his daughter passed away a few years ago and hes become attached to S almost as a replacement of his daughter , and wants to enrich her life and continue to call her. This all sounds like BS to me , S's husband dosent know about this , and it all just sounds warped to me (creepy in a major way) even if hes been honest about his motivations.

Could I get some oppinions here? Although I suspect everyone else will agree.

Okay back up....My ? Is ...How do I get my friend to see this as creepy too? Shes always been honest with me so I do believe what shes told me , or think she belives it.
