lemonicetea Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I’ve been thinking about giving dating apps another stab. I was on Hinge for little over a year before I deleted my account last spring. In the time I was on Hinge I only had two productive conversations that led up to anybody asking me out. I’m thinking there must be something “wrong” with my profile, and that is turning people off. Is there any good general advice to make a profile stand out and look good? Also I fear that my life is too “boring” to make a really flashy profile. Like I don’t have pets, I don’t travel, I don’t have any “exciting” hobbies, I don’t play sports, and I don’t have large friend group that I run around with. I don’t want to lie about who I am so is there a good way to work around this? Quote

I’m really into my job (as a teacher) too so having a relationship with someone in a similar field is a big plus to me. I also like going to local gemstone fairs. Quote
Sony12 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The unfortunate thing is not many people pay much attention at all to what is written in the profile these days (neither men or women) and focus almost entirely on how attractive they think the photos are. It's good to put a little something in your profile but don't fret over it too much. Just write a short paragraph describing yourself and then try to put up a handful of nice looking photos. Quote
