I dont know what I should do in this situation

I have been talking to this guy for maybe a month and things were going well but he was a bit inconsistent with his texts and I have told him that I did not like it twice and he did it again so I cut the contact after giving very cold responses and he asked why then I said "why would that even matter?" then he responded with " maybe you are right" then we cut the contact after that. but now I feel like I ghosted him but he did not initiate any contact either. and I feel like I violated my own moral values because I told him before things were like this that I would not leave without an explanation. i am hesitant whether I should send a text explaining things then ending the contact or should I not even say anything anymore?

This is a very similar thread as to what you made nearly three years ago. Everyone is going to have their own pace that they want to exchange messages with one another. If you are finding yourself easily perturbed by the paces people choose then online dating probably isn't for you.

It's business as usual. You red flag it and block/delete/go no contact. The recipe hasn't changed.

this sounds more like you wanted to be manipulative.

you told him something you didn't like, he kept doing it, so you "cut contact" and he just accepted it.

and now you think you made a mistake.

sounds like you cut contact wanting him to beg forgiveness and he didn't and now you worry he called your bluff.

Sorry but nobody owes it to you to be hanging on your texts at the beginning of dating.

If you dont feel a good energy you can stop talking to him but complaining hes not answering quickly enough is OTT and off putting for most guys.

I wouldn’t date a woman who plays such mind games.

Also, trying to change someone’s texting habits is a bad idea. Either you learn to accept it as insignificant, or just walk away.

What kind of inconsistances are we talking about? He waited days to reply or he replied on same day but not as fast as you wished?

Have you ever actually met him?
