smookie Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I am wondering one thing tonight, Is it really wrong of me for wanting to lose weight for my boyfriend? Now he never says ANYTHING about my weight, It is me, I know that he loves me no matter what size I am however I use to be tiny and a few months ago he seen the pictures of me when I was about 40 pounds lighter, He almost lst it he could not even figure out that it was me in them pictures. Anyways I loved his reaction and I thought that it was really cute. He has no clue how hard it has been on me gaining this weight, but I want to lose it and not just for him but for myself, I love all my old cloths (man they looked hot on me) . I just find I never do anything with myself anymore to make my appearence more apealing. I have really let myself go in the past 3 years, any help tostart all this would be great, i do not know where to start, should I start with a nice hair cut and nails or start with the weight loss program, No I am not going on a diet I am with spa lady and intense programs there (wow have not tried it yet but it looks hard!!!). So I gues there is a couple of questions I have here, 1-is it wrong to want to do this for him? / and me. 2- what is the best way to start this off? thanks for all who reply!!!!!! smookie

So tell him. You're doing this for you because it's healthier and you want to physically feel good as well as look good. IF it makes a difference to you, do it for you. He shouldn't be the main reason. 2- what is the best way to start this off? Talk to your DR about setting up an appointment with a Nutritionist. Get them to do afew meal plans with you, and also consider joining a gym or start walking daily. That might be a nice thing for you and your boyfriend to do together - Go for evening walks etc. Also, do some yoga. That will tone you up and give you inner peace as well. Hope this helps!
