Dassie Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I’m a fifteen year old Christian girl who has been going to the career center this year and i met a boy…i didn’t like him at all at first because he was a really mean ungodly guy…but i showed him kindness every day until i got his discord we talked back and forth and i even went over the gospel and told him about some of the things that it has helped me in…he told me he’s had rough relationships with women and even was gay in eighth grade and he regrets that he was just confused…eventually we started holding hands and saying i live you to each other even though i might get in trouble from my parents…it’s gotten to far to say that we can just move in with one other…but just the other night he told me he had sex a long time ago and ever since he went to church he really regrets it…im confused and don’t know how to feel or what to do…i mean my whole life sex was something we save for marriage and not take lightly…i just can’t stop thinking about that…i might date him and his innocence is already gone how will my parents feel? Gebidozo Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago It’s way too early to say “I love you” at this point, not to mention living together. You’re way too young for that. Also, some things aren’t quite clear here. What kind of “rough relationships with women” could this teenager boy have had? Or are you talking about a grown up man in his 20’s? Things have been happening way too fast, you need to back off. You don’t really know that boy. You’re probably not on the same page in your spiritual and ethical beliefs. It’s too early to say whether he really stopped being mean, and what he really thinks about his past actions and about sex in general. In general, however, it’s very likely that the men you’ll date in the future will have had some sort of a sexual past. Based on what I’ve been observing pretty much my whole life, couples that rush into life-long commitment without prior sexual experience tend to encounter very serious problems later in their lives.
