How do you keep the spark alive in a long-distance relationship?

Hey everyone

I’ve been in a long-distance relationship for a while now, and while we’re doing okay overall, I’ve noticed it’s getting harder to keep that same emotional closeness and excitement we had at the start. Between busy schedules and time zone differences, sometimes our calls feel more like check-ins than real connection.

I’d love to hear what’s worked for others, how do you keep things fun, meaningful, and intimate when you’re apart? Do you plan regular visits, surprise each other, or have specific “date night” traditions online?
