Getting rid of dead skin

I have this really bad like patch of dead skin on my foot i cant get rid of.I tried creams and everything but no luck any advice on this.It's gotten pretty bad though i cant put my finger nail and press down really hard on it and not feel a thing so its pretty bad.

Could be athlete's foot, it can morph into horribly calloused dead skin. If you've tried over the counter treatments, time to see a doctor.

i would try using a pumice stone file on the rough parts.... it scrapes off the dead skin, but still schedule an appointment with a podiatrist, because it might need to be removed by a professional.
