ChocolateBrown2024 Posted Wednesday at 11:54 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:54 AM Hi, I would like to thank you in advance for reading this post and your replies. I wanted to ask, how many of you get or have gotten psychic/tarot card readings? Are they accurate? Do you let getting them? I'm asking because as a christian woman I've turn to the cards for answers. (please no harsh criticism) Thank you again Quote
ExpatInItaly Posted Thursday at 03:50 AM Posted Thursday at 03:50 AM I've had a couple done for fun over the years. I believe it was three times in total. None of what these people predicted has actually ever happened. In my experience and opinion, it's just entertainment. Quote
Author ChocolateBrown2024 Posted Friday at 10:01 PM Author Posted Friday at 10:01 PM I know. It would be nice if we knew when psychic predictions were to happen when we call them. Any other replies from others? Quote
MsJayne Posted Friday at 10:47 PM Posted Friday at 10:47 PM I have a friend who reads tarot cards, and she is often accurate about big things. When I say accurate I mean in a broad sense, not in a detailed sense. About three and a half years ago her cards saw a "sea-change" for me. At the time I was full-time working, living in a suburb, no plans whatsoever to change anything in the near future. Within six months of her seeing that I was made redundant from my job and for health reasons was forced to make decisions about my retirement plan, selling my home, etc. I moved to an island and bought a house which has expansive sea views and is a stone's throw from the water. Two years ago she saw in her cards that the relationship I was in would "suddenly crumble". While she was aware that there had been some issues in my relationship I had never indicated that I had thought of ending it, it was the "suddenly" bit that very accurate. My ex pretended to forget what day my birthday was, and all of a sudden I'd had an absolute gutful of his juvenile spite, and I ended the relationship on that day. As far as psychics go, I met one once when I was in my twenties, a real one, it was an eerie experience and some things which she predicted for my immediate future came startlingly true. I'd found her in our local newspaper in the trades and services section, and when I tried to look her up again she was just gone. Even when I drove up the road where her home was I was unable to recognise her house again, it was quite bizarre. I have an open mind about it because, just because you and I can't "see things" we shouldn't assume that another person can't, the human mind is capable of all sorts of things. In saying all of that, I do think that for every one person who genuinely has some strange cognitive ability, there are a thousand people who only pretend they do. Quote
