jake0193 Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I need to speak to my girlfriends parents to say I'm going to propose. I don't love close to them and they are very busy at the moment. Can I send them a voicenote today, they are babysitting for her sister, stating my intentions and say that I am free tomorrow to call if they wanted to talk about it more. I basically want to let them know ita happening, that's the way that my partner has said she would like it to be done as she's been married before, and I also think it would be nice for them and my partner to have me asking them to listen to in the future.
MsJayne Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Might be better just to leave a voice message asking them to call you when they're not busy rather than announcing the reason for the call. If she's been married and divorced already I'll assume she's over 18, so if I was her parent I'd think you were a bit weird and I'd wonder why the two of you didn't just announce it together. 1
