Well if they asked you to deal with it and they are still finding fault in what you did then you clearly do need to leave as it won't be long before they show you the door themselves.

Good.

It is much better that you leave by choice rather than get fired, which I am quite sure is coming in the not-too-distant future. There are indicators here that your boss is making the case to dismiss you.

So..... here is an update.

I submitted my resignation notice, but it turns out someone from another area of operations had requested my transfer, and that's where the problem with my boss came from. They had overstepped his authority, and he was basically taking it out on me, or trying to prove I was a bad fit for the position they had requested me to cover.

When I tried to talk to him about my resignation, he broke the news to me: I'd been asked to work for a position under another boss, but the workplace is farther away, the hours are somewhat worse, and I don't know if the pay will make up for it. While it's higher, you have to take what I said earlier into account.

What followed the next few days wasn't much better with my boss. He started loudly commenting to other coworkers about how happy he was that he was finally getting rid of me, that he wasn't going to fight with me anymore, that he was finally getting a break from me and other similar snarky comments, it seems acting like an ass is not a problem if you are a boss.

This week is my last here, and on Monday I start at a new place with a new boss and new coworkers.

If you are telling the truth your business sure does have an odd way of employing people. Not sure which country you are from but here in the states you generally apply for a new position and then they interview you and pick who they like the best. They may ask if you'd like to apply but you still have to apply in order to go to a new position.

Requesting a transfer without that employee even knowing is pretty odd. Especially so when the employee is only about 20 years old and in many cases is only going to be there a short time anyways.

I'm not at the states.

Everything we do gets registered on a system and that´s how the bosses know who does what under what user name, everything from how much work gets done, how many mistakes we make, how much money gets in and out because of our work, and based on all that data and more, they chose me.

Of course they had to ask me if I was interested in the new position, but, since my soon-to-be ex-boss acts the way he does, he assumed I would be leaving and told management that. If he had asked me, I might have said no because I didn't want to work longer hours or drive longer distances, and I was already happy with my salary.

By the time the interviews came around, I had no reason not to go.

Kind of sounds like you work for a collections agency or a telemarketing company.

I honestly would just focus on school so you will be able to get better jobs in the future. Live as cheap as you can right now so you won't have that many expenses.
