lbk225 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 So I've been off the dating scene for awhile now but have recently had the good fortune of having something go right for a change. This girl I've known for about a year and wanted something to happen with just out of the blue said that she had feelings for me. This was probably a month ago, but she had a lot of stuff going on and I was out of town for the holidays, so nothing was ever really done about it. Recently we had a conversation, I don't remember how it came up, but she said that she hates when guys actually ask her to make it "official" or whatever because it ruins the moment. Now, having been out of the dating scene for as long as I have, I don't have any ideas as far as how else to go about doing it so I can still be sure I'm not assuming too much about where we stand with each other (although I'd like to find a way because I also feel just flat out asking is tacky). Help! Thanks.
lilmoma1973 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Relax and enjoy her company and let the chips fall where they may,and if she wants to be more than a friend then it will happen!! Maybe she isn't sure where you stand and don't want to put her heart there to get stopped on .. Be patient she already told you had feelings for her ,maybe she is waiting on you to make the move ..
lbk225 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Yeah that's just it though. We've talked about it several times and we both know for sure that we each want a real relationship, and I know she's waiting for me to make the move, I'm just not sure exactly how to go about doing that.
