Hey!

I am 25F, post grad student and started full-time work recently. Last friday, for the first time, I had a work party last night, and I’mleft wondering now if I’m overthinking things.

For the context, I have never kissed/ makeout with woman before.

Here’s what happened -

While dancing and having fun with some coworkers, I ended up dancing with a close colleague (40s F - she is divorced and single)who stays in great friendship who I've shared drinks and parties with before.

We were having fun—dancing, joking, and there was a lot of playful touching.
At some point, we started grinding, which was enjoyable for both of us.
She even kissed my cheek and whispered she was enjoying herself.

Later in the late evening, we went to another bar together and danced again and got more touchy—her hand was all over mywaist, and shoulders, both of our legs touching each other but nothing felt uncomfortable.

Then we got bit tired and started dancing slowly.. then, things got a little more intimate. She hugged me from behind, brushed legs,kissed my cheek and neck, and even pulled aside my strap of dress to reveal my collar and shoulder, kissing me there too. It allfelt like part of the dance, and I didn’t think much of it at the time cause I enjoyed a lot.

A couple of weeks ago, we had a conversation where we shared that we were both single (she’s divorced, no kids) and that wemiss being loved and emotionally connected. We also share the same bi-curiosities about women, but we never directly mentionedany romantic interest.

Now, I’m wondering... am I overthinking this whole situation, or was it just a fun night?

No, sounds like she's making a move on you.  Are you interested?

No, you're not over-thinking it, but do you really want to have an experimental sexual experience with a work colleague? Your professional reputation is something that you should never compromise.
