supertonman20 Posted Saturday at 09:45 AM Posted Saturday at 09:45 AM (edited) Hi, Everyone my name is [ ] , and I'm a drummer, etc, I looking for a right person, my age actually. I have interact with girls, but I needed the right one. Also I have Autism Disorder: Autism, also known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by differences or difficulties in social communication and interaction, a preference for predictability and routine, sensory processing differences, focused interests, and repetitive behaviors, which may include stimming. Formal diagnosis requires significant challenges in multiple domains of life, with characteristics that are atypical or more pronounced than expected for one's age and sociocultural context. Motor coordination difficulties are common but not required for diagnosis. Autism is a spectrum disorder, resulting in wide variations in presentation and support needs, such as that between speaking and non-speaking populations. Increased estimates of autism prevalence since the 1990s are primarily attributed to broader criteria and increased awareness, although a true rise in prevalence is possible. The World Health Organization estimates about 1 in 100 children were diagnosed between 2012 and 2021, noting an increasing trend. This rise has fueled anti-vaccine activists' disproven claim that vaccines cause autism. While precise causes are mostly unknown, research shows that autism is highly heritable and polygenic. Environmental factors play a relatively small role, mainly prenatally. Boys are diagnosed significantly more often than girls.Autism frequently co-occurs with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), epilepsy, and intellectual disability. There is no known cure for autism, and there are advocates who oppose pursuing one.Interventions such as applied behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy can help increase self-care, social, and language skills.Reducing environmental and social barriers enables autistic people to participate more fully in education, employment, and other aspects of life.Medications can alleviate some co-occurring problems. The view of autism as a disorder has been challenged by the neurodiversity paradigm, which frames autistic traits as a healthy variation of the human condition. This view is supported by the autism rights movement, whose paradigm researchers have recently increasingly adopted. The neurodiversity framework has sparked significant debate and controversy among autistic people, advocacy groups, healthcare providers, and charities. That's the information on Wikipedia. Right now I'm thinking about the Future and have plans to move to the States. Looking forward to have conversations with anyone in the forum. Appreciate it. Take Care. [ ] Edited Saturday at 09:59 PM by a LoveShack.org Moderator personal information Quote

ShySoul Posted Saturday at 07:23 PM Posted Saturday at 07:23 PM Hi Tony. First off, I've known autistic people and people who are close to others with autism. I don't believe I am autistic, but I've often wondered about it and think I share some traits. Just wanted to say I don't think there is anything to cure or that it is a disorder. It's a different way of processing and understand the world around us. So however you are, know that you are fine just as the person you are. If you have any particular relationship questions, feel free to ask. However, know that we aren't experts in relationships or autism. We can't guarantee we'll be able to help with your issues, just that we'll do our best to help you. I would say in general that finding the right person is a struggle we all go through. It's not easy. But you can succeed. Focus on hobbies and interests that you enjoy and meet people that you might share things in common with. Take your time and make sure it's right. 1 Quote

Don't think random strangers online can find you friends of any gender. Especially females that would be a good fit for you. What do you enjoy doing? If you are a drummer, I guess you like music? Have you tried looking for groups that are into the same kind of music as you - be it in person or online groups? Any other interests? First step shouldn't be to look for any particular type of person or try to make friends. Just meet people who you probably will have things in common with and would make it easier to talk with. That helps build friendships. From there you will eventually meet someone that might be more. But you should let it come naturally and not rush it. I know it's difficult. It's confusing. But you'll be okay. Be proud of yurself. Hope you can make some friends. 1 Quote
