Anxiety when we are with his family, relatives - how to resolve that?

I apologize, you're right, I can tell by now as it takes forever for me to even get this far, writing to you now. Stress talking. I suppose.

I do not want to give the impression I have anything against the family, I don't. It's just that when everyone get together like that the first family's member go back to being how they have always been and how they've watched their mom and dad go about when they argue or fight. The newcomers, partners, are not like me as they too can tske it in front of this audiance. I feel like this outsider. I never like it and as it reminds me of how it used to be between my husband and I, I have gotten even more sensitive to it. I have told him sorry I don't fit in with you and your family when it comes to this, but if you want a life with me you have to respect that. It worked well this last time so I am greatful for it.

Adding what I mean with having nothing against them it is that I know they are all good at heart, the core of them is good.
