Hello everyone. First off I must address that I am a bisexual male. Recently, I had my first relationship with a girl and although it was short term, I was really into her. She had said she was bi romantic, but I had noticed some things like not wanting to be touched and getting distant at some moments. She recently decided to end our relationship, saying that she still wanted to be friends but felt pressure from going on dates. I was confused because I thought that I had given her space and was very flexible with her needs. I just found out that she had actually come out as aroace, and that she had discovered it during our relationship. I can't help but feel guilty. I am okay with her identity and would have been willing to make things work. I know it was nothing that I did but I miss her and I just want to understand the situation better.

How do you make things work with someone who is aromantic and asexual?

It would be better if you just accepted she wasn't meant for you.
