I'm basically looking to read some happy ending stories of people who found love after being single 5+ years! Im 37 and I’ve been single for 4.5 years now, I’ve had some hook ups and been on about 15 dates in that time but I just can’t seem to find my person or even a relationship that goes past 2/3 months haha! I was married but got divorced and so have done a lot of healing and work on myself in this time too but I’m at a point where whilst I am very appreciative with all that I have (children, car, house, career, family and friends etc) I can’t help but feel I would love someone to share it with. The loneliness creeps in now and again and I don’t have any single friends so I’m often 3rd wheeling or on my own. Even just walking round the supermarket on my own I find myself thinking it would be nice to do this with someone now and again! I try to be very self aware and know that maybe I can get too excited when I meet someone I like which in turn scares them off if it comes across as desperate and I am working on that. But there’s only been 1 guy that I could maybe see something with after a few dates and he eventually decided “I’m not ready for a relationship” after 5 dates which we all know means “I’m not that into you” haha! But anyway, if anyone has any happy ending stories about finding their love after being single for years I’d love to read them please. Just to cheer me up and give me hope!
