wanda1974 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Just out of curiousity....has anyone here tried "Weight Watchers"? I was just curious because I just ordered the books and want to join, but just wanted to know if anyone saw any results with this program??? Thank you ahead of time.
LBC Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I have done it. I did not join, but used the books and "points" calculator from a friend. Did it for about 8 months and I lost a total of 30 lbs. I tried to walk every day too, but it was closer to 4 days. Drink lots of water too. Since then I stopped the plan and eat bad and dont wak much. I gained 20lbs back. SO, with the new year I am getting back on track and am going to try to lose the 20 plus 10 more. If you can just swicth your mind to LIKE the healthy foods and eat more of them, drink water, and walk for 1/2 hour 6 days a week, you will se results in the first month. It cam off fast for me, but then I tappered off. BUT keep in mind, you cant do this then do back to eating bad and not walking. This is a eating and exercise plan, not a diet to lose a few pounds. You have to make it a life style.

I did work and I lost 30 lbs but then I slacked off and gain it and then some back. So it does work you just have to stick with it. I was on the points system and there are a lot of calculations for what are the best choices to eat even when going out to eat at popular restaurants so you can still go out and have a life. Yeah my mom done it and she lost alot of weight from that program .. She lost 40 some pounds and still does it now!! She highly recommends ...
