Is it really actually true that an elementary school aged child can easily see an adult or teen as a super strong powerful almost giant like being, or is that just a myth? Apparently them just simply standing next to the child and talking to, or holding hands and walking with, or when they pick up the child, they can still seem this way even though they are being super nice. Is this true or a myth? What exactly do kids see from their perspective?

From my perspective as a child, I saw an adult.

What was your perspective as a child and teen?

Depends on the child's experience of adults and the child's own personality. A kid should perceive adults as a source of protection and comfort, but if they've been mistreated by adults then they'll likely see grown-ups as scary.
