dgiirl Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Last valentines day was the worst valentines day ever. My stbxh came home and told me he wanted a divorce. Not that it was ever celebrated between my ex and i anyways, but doing what he did was just the last slap in the face to all the crap I've put up with for the duration of our relationship. Yes, I'm still bitter lol. Anyways, I promised myself that day, Valentines day will never ever be worse than it was that year. So I want to come up with a new tradition that i can do for myself each year for Valentines day. A way of saying, I dont care if I have a partner or not, I love my self and here's something JUST FOR ME! (Fyi, the day after is the date my divorce becomes final too) But I dont know what to do. I wanna do something unique. Suggestions?
whichwayisup Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Invite girl friends over, boil shrimp, have rice, bread and salad. The shrimpfest night! Play poker, strip POKER hehehe, or something really FUN and out of the norm. NO MEN ALLOWED. Hope that helps abit.
