Do you do anything special to celebrate? Are these dates important to you or do you celebrate because you think it's important to your significant other? For the Women: Does your significant other remember important dates like: birthdays, anniversaries, first date, and so forth? Does he do anything special to celebrate? Do you remind him or does he remember on his own? Are you hurt if he doesn't remember? Are these dates important to you? Thanks for your help!

I don't pay any heed to them one way or the other. However, if my SO has made it clear to me that she'd like some sort of commemoration of the event, I'll do something nice. Otherwise, it's just another day.

We exchange cards, gifts, etc. They are important to BOTH of us because we are in the relationship TOGETHER and we share important dates and events with each other.

My ex remembered important dates and if we didn't have anything planned, he bought me something. My Man remembers important dates, too. He sends me cards or calls or we try to get together. (We are several hours apart. But that doesn't stop me from ing him. ) Actually, I don't recall ever having to remind my ex. It seems to be one of the few things that he DID remember. (Remembered the dates, but not the woman, I guess. *sigh* ) I haven't had to remind My Man either. I'm not one to get all mushy over Sweetheart's Day and the first time we drank from the same glass with two straws, so the only important dates for me are the big ones. I'm not hurt if I don't get something on Hallmark Holidays. They are just "another day(s)" for me.
