patwheel Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Finally graduated to this section So went to Mexico for New Year's with a friend and his friends. Met a couple of the girls before, but since I was involved, we never really talked. So I try to have fun, find out the girl likes me, and oops, she accidentaly trips into my bed and we get hot and steamy in Mexico. My dreams of having a good new year eve came true! Now here comes the questions, once we come back and return to our routine... She and I have some stuff in common, both of us have been away from everyone and everything that we know for an extended period of time, we both enjoy good food, good wine, share a passion for led zep. She's an artist, total hippie, always in a good mood, cheered me up for sure. I, on the other hand, am on my way to corporate america... Think dharma and greg, right? Yeah. We come back from Mexico, went to dinner a couple times, and every time we have a lot of fun, talking about ourselves or what goes on. We kiss, make out a bit, but no more than that. What should I think of that? Does it mean that she wants to back off for either a more than just physical, or back off because of the fact that we just hooked up on vacation? Secondly, how do I not come off as a total d*ckhead who just wants to get in her pants? Or should I even be worried about that, since it's already been done... Thirdly, yeah yeah, ghost of ex is still haunting. No contact since the break up(2 months +) and I have no intention of going back to her or anything. It's just that suddenly having someone giving me some attention again, I feel like I want to be a couple again, and if anything happens at all, afraid to rebound, and get hurt again. How can I tell her that she is not a rebound? Or more precisely, how can I tell myself that she is not a rebound?
