I went on a bar date with this woman that I met a couple weeks prior at a party... just one drink and I was totally shy and stuff. I thought I messed up cause I was acting nervous then a couple days later I asked her that we should go watch a movie at the theaters and she told me that she has a nice sound system at home and told me that I should save money. I don't understand why she did that cause I got money to spend.

I asked her if she wanted to watch anything in particular and she said no get anything you want and she told me she'll have a couple of beers ready for the both of us. It's kinda funny cause on our first "date" at a bar, she asked if I could help fix her computer in her apartment, she got out beers before and we both drank way too much, I passed out that and waked up the next morning to wash her dishes then left the place. I don't know why I did that, I just had a NEED to wash her dishes. She thought I was gay, I just laughed it off. I thought girls don't like dating drunkards, man I messed up big time being drunk at her place.

Now I don't want to mess this up cause I think she's cool, so I'm thinking of getting a romantic movie. Do girls like it when boyfriends/husbands watch romantic movies with them? I'm not her boyfriend yet, cause I'm watching the "signs" to see if she's interested in me - so far I haven't been getting any so I'm playing it safe by trying to impress her that I do enjoy watching romantic movies, I'm assuming this is a A+ effort in her books.

Get a comedy. Or romantic comedy. They say when two people laugh together it creates a bond. Something about heart rate increases which resemble arousal, or something.

Actually get two movies. Action/adventure and a romantic comedy. If you get there and she hates the comedy idea, then pull out the action/adventure.

I don't. He hates "chick flicks" and I don't want to make him watch something he's not interested in. I do like action movies so we enjoy those together and I have no qualms about saying I'm not interested in some movie that he wants to see. He will go to the movies by himself. I'll wait for a rental.
