I don't know what to suggest because after a week of ignoring/scoding our cat for waking us up at midnight she stop it. we have a two bedroom. when we were sleeping in the living room in the summer with the air conditioner she just curled up and slept with us. I would again suggest my daughter. She would love the animal too much and than the cat would have soo much attention he would no longer need any at night. She really does try to dress our cat up the cat runs.

(I am trying to forget lately:rolleyes: ) When stayed at my girlfriend`s I would do what I called cat abuse syndrome. It worked! This cat liked attention but not being held so when the cat was bugging me at night (pawing my nose) I would pull the cat under the covers (with her head out) and hold the cat tight for a while. All the while the cat would be tugging to get away. When I figured she had enough I would let her go. After I started this after a while all I had to do was start to grab the cat and it would run. Got to where after a while it would avoid me entirely and stay on the other side of the bed:laugh:

It is understandable that this behavior should manifest from a life on the streets but you really should try to get it in check. Extensive psychotherapy may be required. If therapy is not an option for you, maybe you can compromise by scratching her in the boobs. Hers are numb so you'll satisfy feeding your compulsions but not hurt her. Granted it's not the most healthy alternative long term, but it may be a short term band-aid for the problem. Sometimes people just have different needs in relationships. My cats aren't quite as affectionate as you sound and sometimes I wish they were moreso. Maybe one thing you can try is getting all dolled up and heading out to the bars. You could try bringing home a new person to cuddle with in front of JS17. It's a less mature approach, but a little spark of jealousy can sometimes re-ignite the passion in a relationship. If nothing else, just self-medicate and numb your problems away with hit after hit of catnip until your days and nights blur into an incoherent struggle to obtain that seductive high "just one more time". There is nothing you can do to her that she doesn't love....except for the time that I shut her tail in the shower door by accident, ouch. She wouldn't talk to me for a few hours. However I'm not willing to hurt my cat to get some peace and quiet. AND, she loves being under the covers, it's one of her favorite things to do I'm going to try the water therapy again before I take any more drastic measures.

I will admit she did have a nice move over the weekend when she jumped three feet from the windowsill and landed right on JS's boobs. She was pretty ticked, I was laughing on the inside. If Js brings home a guy and jumps him while ignoring you I would suggest jumping up on the slightly jiggling bed and either take a lick or a swipe at the moving ball sack that is presented near the foot of the bed.. it should be shaking in a forward / Backward motion.. This will get the attention back onto you..
