Mike14 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I don't know what to do anymore!!!!!! My mother is getting worse than EVER!!!!!! She stepped into my room bringing a very wet cloth, water spilled all over my room, and I asked her NICELY if she can take it out of my room and she yelled out at me "MICHAEL, YOU ARE REDICULOUS!!!!!!" She yelled sooooooooo loud that I almost had a heart attack! I replyed "I WAS JUST ASKING YOU NICELY IF YOU CAN GET THIS THING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!" and she continued to yell!!! Ever time she enters my room, she starts yelling!!! I don't know what to do!!! I never abused my mother, but she abuses me with her loud yells, I even have a lock installed to keep her out of my room, so no fights start. If there is a way to resolve this, let me know! slubberdegullion Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Lose the lock. It may be your room, but it's her house. If she yells, don't yell back. That will only make things worse. Talk calmly, rationally, slowly. She'll probably still yell, but don't take the bait. Stay cool. I don't know what other monkeys she may have on her back, but you can do your part by being that one part of her life that isn't a painintheass. Good luck!
